This qualification will develop your knowledge, understanding and skills to enable you to advise and consult with men on the type of haircut and facial hair shaping the way they want, but just as importantly what is suitable for them.

Prior Learner VTCT
This qualification reflects the role of barbers who use a range of well-developed sales, consultation and technical skills and knowledge to provide a broad range of barbering services to clients. They use discretion and judgement to provide client services and take responsibility for the outcomes of their own work.

VCTC Barbering Qualification is a worldwide accredited qualification. VTCT level 3 is equivalent to level 5 NFQ in the National Framework.

Hairdressing to Barbering
This course is suitable for hairdressers who wish to develop their skills to enable them and to give them confidence when it comes to cutting men's hair. Our academy uses live models for the 5 weeks and we will be at your use throughout the course.
